Details from Guatemala

I had been aching to travel again after my trip to Egypt last year, and quite suddenly, the opportunity to visit Guatemala with a group of amazing women came.  I feel very blessed to have been a part of the ministry there, and the women I met encouraged and inspired me.  Now I’m back to Texas-style thunderstorms, and some amazing client sessions and weddings.  But I had to share a bit of Guatemala first.

Another place to love, and more friends that make the world that much smaller.

And oh how I’m kicking myself for not bringing back more coffee….

Celebrate Ashton | 10 days | Sugar Land newborn photographer

Loved getting to cuddle this little one during our session.  He was a dream.  Never a peep, just sweet slumber.  Mom requested the marshmallow shot, and I was a little nervous that he wouldn’t let us work that one in.  But I shouldn’t have worried at all.  Jason and Staci are pros, and not at all like first-time parents.  After shooting their maternity session and talking on the phone, I feel like old friends.  And I couldn’t be more thrilled for them and their precious little bundle.  Soak up every minute with him, guys!!

Celebrate Ben | Sienna Plantation Child Photographer

This is my third session with Ben, and I love that he’s grown up right before my lens.  If the session had gone according to his plan, he would have been running and jumping the entire time.  But I knew mom would also like some of those beautiful chocolate eyes and sweet smile.  So we got some of both.
