Together

It’s been wonderful to watch my two kids begin to play together. **cue the angelic chorus**  I’m seeing beautiful days ahead.   But this particular interaction had me laughing as I snapped the photos. First, Jack insists on entering his play area any way BUT through the door. Then, out of nowhere Kate pops into the frame carrying a crab filled with sand, which she proceeds to dump at the foot of the slide. Jack didn’t seem to mind at all.  And most of all, I love how I think Jack is oblivious to my presence, but as soon as he gets to the bottom of the slide, he looks over to make sure I saw him – and I’m so glad I did.
