I feel like Jack needs some blog love :)

I’ve been taking an online photography course for the past month on “mastering your canon flash.”  It’s helped me to actually want to use the flash on occasion.  This photo was taken for a recent assignment to use high-speed flash.  The sun hit Jack’s face on the left, so without any flash, there was a harsh shadow on the right of his face.  Using high-speed flash meant I could increase the shutter speed to capture the motion of the swing and still have the flash sync.  Not that you wanted to know any of that, but I’m confirming that it was money well spent!
