Mr. Independent (and his sister, too) | sugar land family photographer

Thomas recently turned one, and he had the walk to prove it.  He wasn’t about to stop moving for some boring photos, even if we were pulling out all the stops.  I love that Ring Around the Rosy is what had him in stitches!  The most difficult thing about this session, though, wasn’t keeping up...

Peaches n Cream | Sienna Plantation Family Photographer

Loved getting to photograph this beautiful family again!! Lauren has been so patient – as I shot her session on a Wednesday and then left for Africa two days later for 5 weeks!! I know she has been dying to see these.  Layla and Olivia are two of the most adorable little girls with the...

Big Sister | sienna plantation photographer

Just a few days after our session, Keilyn became a big sister!!  We love this family, and capturing Keilyn over the last two years has been such a joy.  I **might** have gone a little overboard because of her to-die-for romper and of course her infectious smile!  Happy Belated Birthday, Keilyn!!!

Oh So Loved | sienna plantation photographer

Tyler turned one, and his parents wanted to capture this special time.  It’s crazy, because in the moment, you are convinced you won’t ever forget.  You won’t forget his sweet little smile or the way he shakes his arms when he gets excited.  You won’t forget his baby curls and how he stuck out his...

If you’re happy and you know it | sugar land children’s photographer

Khloe is one!!! I photographed her in utero. As a newborn. And now, as a happy, gorgeous one year old.  Her smile is to-die-for, and on this beautiful, sunny day, she showed me lots of personality. Love, love, love getting to see her grow up! Below is for sure my favorite photo from the afternoon. ...

Ahoy Mate! | sugar land children’s photographer

It is one of the coolest things as a photographer to see the babies you photograph as newborns as they grow!  Ashton is six months, and looks oh so different from when I last saw him.  I just love his downy soft hair, which I’m sure he’ll have even more of at a year!  His...
