Celebrate Thomas | one year | houston child photographer

Poor Laura has waited long enough for this sneak peak.  Like I told another client who is now viewing her gallery and never did see a sneak peak on the blog, I’m VERY behind on blogging, and I’m determined to play catch-up this week.  Wish me luck! Thomas just turned one, and to celebrate, we...

Celebrate Rebekah and Norah | Sisters | Houston family photographer

So many times I get images in my head of what clients looks like who I haven’t even met — and I’m always dead wrong.  I should really stop trying.  I did not imagine Marianne as a blonde, and I certainly could not have imagined how cute, cute, cute her two girls would be.  Three...

Fantastic job capturing everyone’s personalities, Laura!! We love the photos and it’s a time for our new family that is now captured for posterity :) Thanks for being so good about contacting us back quickly, and meeting us on pretty short notice.

Celebrate Sisters | Houston child photographer

These two cuties are my neighbors.  I photographed her back when she was just a week old, and we had the privilege of attending her naming ceremony.  Now one year later, they’re little ladies.  We went out in the middle of a bright sunny day, and their mom said our location reminded her of Nigeria...

Celebrate Eli | 4 days | houston newborn photographer

I love, love, love newborn photography.  I also love, love, love my friend Shauna, so it took me no time to decide that I would drive to Kingsland – out in the middle of nowhere – to photograph Eli at four days old.  Eli is not only very loved, and very adorable, he was quite...

I seriously don’t know how it is possible that I can love my kids more just by seeing your photos of them. Thank you so much for driving out to the boonies for Eli. You were AMAZING at getting him calm and asleep and into position. We will treasure these FOREVER!!!

Laura–these are so beautiful!! I’m just so sad that I don’t live closer to Shauna and couldn’t weasel my way into the photography session somehow with Ethan :)

What sweet pictures, Laura! Shauna is lucky to have such a talented friend! Love, Love, Love the picture of his tiny feet! :)

Laura the photo shoot was a great success!!! You are amazing!!! I know just how much it meant to Jeff and Shauna that you drove all the way to Kingsland to take pictures of my precious babies Lily and Eli. All the doctors in my office commented on what a great photographer you are. It was so nice to get to see you again. I will be placing an order soon.

LOVE these pictures. I was admiring how beautiful and sweet the kids were and kept scrolling and BAM! it’s Shauna! Congrats to her and I think everyone loves her kids more after these pictures!

Celebrate Jaxon | one year | houston child photographer

It really is incredible how quickly kids change.  Here is Jaxon at 8 weeks. And here he is now, at one year.  This little guy wins the award for the quickest 12 month old on the planet.  I’ve seen a lot of kids this age, and I’ve never seen one move as fast as Jaxon. ...

Love Love!! Can’t wait to see the rest.

A long way from the yellow house.

In college, I lived in a cute little yellow house with a red door in Hyde Park.  I have tons of great memories from that house, and most of them include one of my best friends, Shauna.  We knew each other before either of us had met our future husbands, suffered through pregnancy, or imagined...

blame the post baby hormones… but I’m crying as I read this. Maybe its from remembering all the sleep we used to get in the yellow house. I love these pictures and am so thankful for you capturing the memories for me. Can’t wait to see more of the Baby Eli ones. So glad you’re my friend.
