A LITTLE

ABOUT ME

WELCOME, FRIEND

It’s great to meet you.

For over 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting people and their stories—from growing families and brand-new babies to high school seniors and wedding days. I love people, I love their stories, and I love that a photograph can hold onto those stories long after the moment has passed.

When I look back at photographs from my own childhood, my family, and my wedding, I find myself celebrating more than just the images. I remember the people, the places, the relationships, and the ordinary moments that made those seasons of life what they were. Those photographs remind me of what I might otherwise forget.

That is one of the reasons I began documenting my own family’s life—not just the big milestones, but the everyday moments, too. Because I love the idea of photographs becoming part of the home—images of the people we love greeting us as we walk up the stairs, gather in the kitchen, or relax in the living room.

I love when photographs are more than something we scroll past on a screen. I want them to become part of your family’s story—printed, displayed, and lived with for years to come. Because those ordinary moments become the memories we treasure.

My hope is to create photographs for you that do more than look beautiful. I want them to remind you of who you were, who you loved, and the beauty that was woven throughout your life in that particular season.

I love getting to know your families, your children, and the unique personalities that make your story yours. And I love giving you photographs that allow you to come back to those people and those moments again and again.

Because life is worth remembering.
And life is definitely worth celebrating.

Away from the camera, I am a spiritual director, teacher and writer.

My work in spiritual direction has deepened the way I see people and their stories, and my photography has taught me to pay attention to the beauty of ordinary life.
I believe God gave us photographs to help us remember—to remember the reality of our days and relationships when our minds tend to forget. A photograph can bring us back to a season we thought we had forgotten, reminding us of who we were, who we loved, and the goodness that was there all along.
I think that is part of why I love what I do. Whether I am photographing a growing family, a senior stepping into something new, or a couple beginning their life together, I get to preserve a little piece of their story for them to return to again and again.
