Sad

I’m sad that I’ve been such a sorry blogger, but I must say that it’s been kind of nice not adding one more thing to the “to do” list.   Lots going on at LWP and the watson house, including a slew of living room sessions, birthdays (mine and jack’s), and an attempt at doing sessions with my own two beaks.  I decided I would take them out one-on-one more often for a proper session.  I knew it wouldn’t be easy. When I tell clients that I have one of the most difficult children on the planet to photograph – I’m not kidding.  It’s a blessing and a curse.  It’s nearly impossible to get amazing photos of this girl – but it’s great practice for working with other people’s kids.

This is how our session began.

No. I will not make eye contact. No matter what she does. I will not look at that camera.

oh, this photo thing is exhausting. when will it end?

ok. maybe if i look at the camera once she’ll make it stop.
