A Maternity Session | Julianne & James | Claremont, CA

It was such a joy to meet Julianne and James and photograph this special season as they prepare to welcome their first baby. They are the kindest couple, and it was easy to see how excited they are to become parents. I loved learning about the different gifts and interests they each bring to their relationship—from James’ love of ultimate frisbee to Julianne’s love of hiking.

Their session at the California Botanic Garden was especially meaningful because it is also where they were married. Returning to a place that already holds so much significance to celebrate the beginning of their family felt like the perfect way to document this new chapter.

What a beautiful season to remember—the anticipation of meeting the little person who will soon make them a family of three. I’m so glad they chose a place so meaningful to their story to document it.
