Open for business in California! | Upland photographer

Back in October, we made the huge decision to move our family to California.  Since then, I prepared to take our family across the country while wrapping up my last wonderful fall sessions in Sienna and Sugar Land.  Of course, you can see that I left the blog for dead and forged ahead with all the demands of this season of life – including – selling and packing up our Houston home, saying lots and lots and lots of goodbyes, celebrating our last Texas Thanksgiving, driving from Houston to Upland with three kids and two dogs and a very patient husband, settling in temporary housing, getting my kids started in a new school, celebrating Christmas and hosting family, getting to know a new church family, new friends, new town, dealing with a son’s broken arm and all that entails, finding a home, buying said home, moving again, unpacking and setting up a new house, getting new business licences in a new state, new driver’s licenses and vehicle registration, address changes galore, and on and on.  whew. Finally, four months after moving, we are beginning to settle into a more familiar routine.  So I apologize for the radio silence over the past five months.  From now on, look forward to regular posts in this space.
