Emily | rancho cucamonga high school senior photographer

There’s lots of talk in the photography community about “specializing.”  Meaning – instead of being a photographer who sticks with clients from their child’s newborn photos, through family photos over the years, to high school senior photos – the photographer only photographs newborns and refers you to other photographers for everything else.  There are definitely photographers who have successfully specialized, and I’ve toyed with the idea myself.  Before we moved to Upland, I was beginning to focus more on high school senior photography.  I LOVE my job.  I love watching babies transform into toddlers, who grow into little kids, who are suddenly teenagers graduating from high school.  There is something markedly special about each stage, and it’s truly a privilege to capture every one of them.  But man, I have a lot of FUN photographing high school senior girls.  They usually have no idea how beautiful they are as they stand on the cusp of their future.  It’s a time full of decisions and new beginnings and becoming a grown-up.  And I know something they don’t know; they’ll look back on these images in 10 years or 15 years or 20 years, and they’ll finally recognize their own beauty. That’s why, if I ever did “specialize,” I’d be a high school senior photographer.

And on that note, NOW is a great time for 2016 Seniors to have their senior portraits!! Take advantage of our summer specials, and book your senior portrait session today!
