One of the biggest compliments is to have a client refer me to their friends. Rachel, sent Jaime my way, and I’m so thrilled I got to meet Nathan and Chloe! Nathan is one of those boys that is going to be a heart-breaker — I mean just LOOK at him. For now though, he’s a true mama’s boy and wanted to be held most of the time. It just took a few games and silly singing to get him to sit by himself for a minute.

And a little game of peek-a-boo.

Love this cheeky little grin while sucking that thumb.

Then we let sister jump in to play.

Of course, it wasn’t too long until Nathan was the star of the show again!

Love this expression along with that icing coated hand — Guilty! And Adorable!

Jaime and Chris, thanks so much for having me capture this wonderful milestone for you guys! And Jaime, thank you for being the most prepared mom ever!!
Khloe surprised us all when she arrived a few weeks early! And it seems she likes surprises, because she just kept right on bringing them. First, she decided that the very day of her modeling debut would be the day she no longer snoozed for hours on end. (much to her mother’s dismay!) It didn’t stop her from being oh so cute and snuggly, and I just took it as my opportunity to hold her that much longer. Her poor parents probably wondered if I was ever going to pick up the camera. Then, after already getting her mommy good with a little surprise sans diaper, she decided if I was going to make her really work this hard – she would show me who’s boss! So I left with a little bit of dirty laundry AND some fantastic images of the gorgeous girl herself.
What’s my luck with all these dark haired beauties lately?!?

Karla and Steven, you guys are so blessed! I loved getting to meet Khloe, and thank you for your patience on that afternoon. I hope you both got a little rest that night!
I’m not an especially early riser. Usually I wake up to Jack singing “oh happy day” over the monitor, and I groggily rise to get my first of many cups of coffee. So when I occasionally schedule early morning photo sessions, I surprise even myself. When I say early, I know some of you will roll your eyes and say, “seriously, that’s not early.” But 8am is early for me to be anywhere these days – it has to be really worth it for me to get out of the house before 9.
This morning — totally worth it!

I’ll be back with more of Nathan soon. For now – more coffee!
Not only do I love Sloane’s name, I love that full head of dark, gorgeous hair! She was an angel during our session, but as the firstborn and as a girl, I’m sure she’ll give her parents plenty of headaches as a teenager ;)
Jennifer and Scott are, of course, in love with their precious daughter — isn’t she adorable?!?

Thank you guys so much for allowing my my baby fix. Sloane is just gorgeous!
