For what seems like forever, I’ve been in the process of transitioning computers. It’s a long process that involves making sure everything’s backed up and copied over correctly — and then once it’s complete, there are still so many little tasks that take me longer because I realize something’s missing once I start. For instance when I came to do this blog post, I realized my watermark brush was no longer installed. Anyway, all that to say I’m thrilled to be working at warp speed on this new machine, and I’m slowly getting everything back in it’s place. So, many thanks to my dad and husband for helping me with it all!
Lots of other fun things in the works — like an updated website and blog!! Can’t wait to share – but for now I’m excited to share these.
Did I mention I’m enjoying maternity sessions so much?!? Karla and Steven were amazing to work with, and I can’t wait to meet their baby girl in just a few short weeks! I will be back to share more from their sessions, but I had to pop in with a couple now!

I’ve always said maternity sessions aren’t my very favorite — because the newborn session is! But Haley might have changed my mind. There was a point when I looked through my lens and thought “this could be a GAP ad,” and I actually said that to Haley and Chad. And then as I looked through the images when I got home, I loved every single one. And then, I reconsidered always saying that maternity sessions aren’t my very favorite! It didn’t hurt that they are huge Longhorn fans either ;)
Haley and Chad are expecting a precious baby boy in March. And you can see that he is already very loved.
