This family is delightful.  It was truly like a playdate for me – and I think it was the same for Joshua and Juliette.  We spotted alligators, told knock-knock jokes and attempted tongue twisters.  Oh, and we also played a mean game of red light, green light.  The only thing more gorgeous than the weather was the ensemble Christy put together for her family.  When parents pull out hats and red slippers, I think I’ve died and gone to heaven.

Thank you guys for a wonderful time. I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of your photos!

This afternoon, I overhear Kate and Jack as they’re playing in the gameroom -  “Everyone be patient.  You’re all going to get your flu shot.”

I peek around the corner to see their patients all lined up, the doctor’s kit out, and the two of them dutifully vaccinating.

Maybe they’ve spent too much time around Uncle Dan and Aunt LJ….

I absolutely loved this session – there’s definitely something special about sisters.

**sigh** these girls are gorgeous!  But don’t let little Peyton deceive you – she’s a two-year-old pistol!

Yesterday was a glorious day for the zoo!  We’re learning about creation in our homeschool pre-school -  so even though we go to the zoo all the time, I made a special point to talk about all the different creatures that God created.  Kate agreed that God made the elephants, giraffes, and monkeys, but she would not aquiese that God made the ants.  On the drive to the zoo, we listened to our theme song for the week from the Singing Bible, which I have to admit, I enjoy listening to even when the kids aren’t in the car.

And I do believe we have not one but two photographers in the making.
