Since I’m on a new “healthy living” eating/exercise plan, I thought I’d share these yummy morels here instead of cosuming them. I made Lemmon Blossoms for a family get-together, and I love that they’re not your typical dessert. Plus they’re super easy. Down-side – they’re bite-sized, quickly consumed, delicious, and while your tummy will thank you – your thighs will hate you! I’m not gonna lie – the only thing keeping me from making some right now: it’s nice to be a medium again – oh, and to fit into my college jeans :) But I’m sure you have much more self-control – so go ahead and eat one (or three) on me!
So I’ve been a really lame blogger this summer, but I’m determined to come back with interesting things to say and some pretty pictures to share. To start off – I promised my cousin, Sara, these photos of Adison after our trip to the beach in JUNE. For real. I’m slow. But she’s just too cute not to share here.

Jennifer lived across the street from me back in the day. We did all the cool things 10 year old do, like build forts in the forest, create “bff” clubs, and record crazy commercials and music videos :) I was so excited when she scheduled me a few months back for newborn photos. It worked out perfectly that Brody arrived just before we were set to travel to Austin to visit family. He is precious and such a good baby. Jen was the kind of mom I love – willing to feed him as needed – and we got a huge variety of poses. Meet Brody Michael…
